some dumbass b**** pulled right out in front of me and i slammed the brakes and slid, hit her at about 10mph but totally screwed the bumper and grills. i was coming down a bit of a hill and the sun was behind me, but get this. she said "i couldnt see, so i just went" and i slid and was honking, and she just sat there in the middle of the road. ****** idiot...women need tougher license tests

I would say the need of tougher liscenses is universal and there needs to be a height requirement to drive an SUV!

Sorry to hear about the car.

Hopefuly insurance will cover it without giving you too much crap.

her insurance will, she did it, theres no way in hell it can be considered my fault, hopefully i can get a cf hood or an autoexe grill out of htis

"I couldn't see"

Usually when I can't see...I don't go. But thats just me.

Your problem is that you hit her. That never works for insurance companies except in special cases. If they try to place the blame on you becasue you hit her, take her to court and get a decent lawyer because you don't want to be paying for her stupid mistake the rest of your life. Make sure she is 100% at fault.

oh, dont feel so bad, i crashed my P5 Today too :( but i have no one else to blame but my self, i tryed an e-break, and hug my lane, but it lost control and bang, right into a telephone pole at 10-15 mphs, nothing really got fuckedup, just cracked the fog light, and my bumper is slightly messed up, so i guess i gotta go after market:D ... and right before that i almost rear ended a civic because i saw a p5 and i wasnt paying attention, im not really a bad driver, just a moron today.... oh well good luck w/ your car man

oh, theres NO way it was my fault
it cant be your fault when someone pulls out right in front of you, the only way you can always get blamed is hitting someone from behind. she also admitted fault on a police report...im covered

geesh, and I was going crazy because I scraped my bumper last night on a curb....
I would really like to get the Wings West bumper, but I don't have any money to spend on anything...^_^

my bad i guess you thought i wrote that like i said the accident was your fault. i know it wasnt i just ment, that my accident was a one person accident

Ouch Jeremy... that sucks..

gunna snap a pic of the damage for us to see? Hopefully you can score some aftermarket parts with this one. Did you try the o-so-popular "the turbo fell off when I was hit" line when the cop came?

Today was an interesting day. I saw a pretty bad wreck right in front of me on the way to my gf's school. My friends P5 needs a new hood from the hail damage. And now your P5 is hurt.

I havent ever hit anything or wrecked anything (knock on wood) but I am starting to scare myself. Latley I've been going through red lights and not realizing it. I guess thats what a full day of work and school will do to you.. I will stare at the red light and it wont register that red=stop.. I've been lucky soo far. It might help that my car is bright yellow.

Anyways.. good think your not hurt, and it seems like the damage is minimal. Hopefully the fix will be unnoticable.

the damage is pretty minimal, mainly really deep scratches and broken grills, i think im gonna mes sup the hood more so i can get a new one...about the redlights, i was lookin back to changle lanes and rolled right through one too, but no one was around

i think im gonna pop off the emblem and paint it, ill get a new one with the grill so ill have a stock and a black one

well I guess a cop never came to the scene of the accident, because in texas, if you hit someone from behind, no matter what, it is your fault, hehe

I belive the lady was on a perpindicular street pulling left or right onto the street Jeremy was driving on.. Thats what it sounds like to me.. she pulled out too far and he nicked her front... her fault if his light was green..

good luck Jeremy.

Just the other day on my way home from work I had to lock mine up for the same exact reason. Just cruzin along a industrial part of town and I saw the lady in the middle lane waiting to make a left turn into a drive way. She saw me and I'm sure of it but I think the conversation she was having on the phone was more important than driving because she pulled out right in front of me with her teal Minivan. To top it off as I was laying on my wimpy ass horn and skidding to a stop the b**** has the nerve to stop and smile at me and word the words "Im sorry". All the while her right hand on the wheel and her left hand holding the phone in her RIGHT ******* ear. AARGH. I missed her by this much {<----->].

I havn't been that pissed off in months. whew!

Jeremy, I really feel for ya. Again, good luck man!!

Ive found that the middle finger comes in handy in times sush as these. Especially when it was a near collision that was her fault. I usually follow up the finger with a cut-off and a slow down... if they try changing lanes change lanes in front of them and go even slower... If they dont see you then dont slow down because they missed you once.. they might not again. Always follow the slow down with a down shift and speed up.. They usually stay a good distance away from u from then on. Ive only had this fail once, when I got to a red light and the guy came out of his car and started cussing at my window. I told him he should have cut me off...

Actually dont do any of that.. I only do it because defensive driving had a reverse effect on me...

ok, i think i need to draw a lil diagram...here we go

any questions?

Oh no, the "Sun" factor. You should definitely bring that up if it comes down to a court thing. Then again, I'm no expert so I don't know how that would play out.
