Could this be the best wheel-lock?

After watching a video from project farm showing different wheel locks on the market, I decided to purchase "Advancedlocks" wheel locks. Basically there is no bullet proof wheel lock on the market. But these stood out out of all other ones out there. These are for my 2024 CX-5. They look pretty good. Best of all, it's made here in the USA.

Have you had, or have you heard of, people in your area having their wheels stolen?

I supposed this is good peace of mind for some but not me. I've been driving since around 1973 or so and I have never had any wheels stolen nor have I ever heard of anyone that I know having their wheels stolen.

I purchased two new vehicles that came with wheel locks, I removed them as soon as I got home. Still have em in a drawer somewhere.

Been driving since the 60's. Never had wheels stolen or know of anyone that did.
First thing I do when buying a new (or used) vehicle, is remove the wheel lock nuts. They are a PITA.

I believe Donut Media did a video on wheel locks, and these ones put up the best fight against the typical methods thieves resort to for wheel theft. Pricey, but these will at least provide some peace of mind. More than the typical wheel lock design, at least.

To add. Even if this isn't a common occurrence, it doesn't mean it can't happen. Growing up, I never had my car stolen, but I used The Club whenever my car was parked outside. I've never had my house broken into, but I've always had an alarm system installed. I've never had my sheds broken into, but I still put locks on everything. None of these things will stop a determined thief, but they may serve as enough of a deterrent to make a thief think "ehh too much work".

Glad you asked. Yes, it happened to my co-worker. It all happened in the parking where I work. There's always people coming in and out, yet no one ever saw it happen. These individuals are fast. I also saw a car on top of 4 milk crates at my local groceries store. About a week ago I went to my local Walmart and saw a tow truck putting 4 orange tires on a Honda. It's obvious that the rims were stolen. After seeing this, I really don't want to take any chances. If a thief wants your car, he will do whatever it takes, but at least I'll make him work for it with these locks.

Yes, it really depends on where do you live. Like the Bay Area in NorCal, window breaking has almost become a norm if your CUV or hatchback has a trunk cover. It created a shortage on window glass in the area when the rear quarter window of my daughter’s Corolla hatchback got broken parked on the street during the daylight in Oakland.

I refuse to go to Oakland. Sad to say that.

SF is getting there... last time I went there, a homeless guy tried to hit me for no reason.
I could easily defend myself but I would be in jail and he would be free zooming on the streets.
No reason fighting a homeless guy.

Back to the topic.
If I have forged wheels, Advanced Wheel Locks would be my 1st choice.
McGrad wheel locks are useless. It causes more troubles (lost key, etc.) then it helps.

These look good and like they would definitely be effective. I live in the Houston area and wheel theives have been rampant here this year. Going to put aftermarket wheels on soon and would like something better than the regular locking nuts. I just need them to get the black back in stock.

I don't regret buying these locks. It's not cheap, but make sure you order an extra key.

Ordered black ones but it's taking forever for them to ship due to delays. Definitely trying to be patient.

At the time when I had ordered mine, it was on back order. Order was placed on Aug 6. By Aug 15 I received the lug nuts. Hope you ordered an extra key. There's no way to remove the lock nuts if you loose the key.
