Cork Sport 'Power Series' Tuner Computer update

i got an idea for your fuel problem. get a 255 lph fuel pump. and build a throttle body spacer that will fit two aux injectors and run them off the CORK SPORT COMPUTER and make them boost depended. just and idea.

OK, the first day or so, big difference, but then I'm starting to either get used to it or it gets slower. And i had to re-read the directions where it talks about ecu re-learning, I had to turn the switch off for 10 minutes to see the difference, and yes it resets the ecu and you get rough idle for a short while, but it looks like it's back to the fast. I haven't run into anyone worth wasting gas on, yesterday some guy in a chevy cavalier tried to race me, needless to say it only took second gear.
I want to run against a 350z that a friend of mine has, what do you think?
So do you have to keep resetting the ECU?? If so that seems like crap to me. How will anyone pass emissions if they have to reset the ecu every few days. You ECU needs a complete drive cycle to pass emissions. If you don't need to reset it, then as I was!

The 350z thing, you'll spank it!! Those things aren't as fast as you think. My friends mother bought the NISMO one and I can take it. Now if they get into some mods, then you'll have some issues.

Apparently this hasn't happened on anyone's car yet, except for maybe Ben @Corksports. Hell, it may have happened before all the kinks were worked out and now its not even needed, but its nice to have just in case. Its not a big deal.

I just purchased mine today and hopefully it will arrive soon. I guess the unit is ready to go no matter which upgrades you are running. I will let you know how it goes on my car which is a flashed 03.5 with Injen Intake, Apex 2.5 catless, and colder plugs.

I was curious as if others with the chip are running the stock plugs or colder? What type of gas are you running in your cars as well? Also, does the instructions explain the different fuel mappings and boost settings?

Update us as soon as its ready to install. I'm pretty intrested on this unit since i was looking for a new boost controller.

That is way more fuel pump than is needed. I could easily get a package together and start selling them, but I'm trying to make this as cost effective for customers as possible. Overly excessive things make it more expensive.

If you guys are familiar with the company Perrin (who's coming out with a bunch of parts for the MSP) is going to help me get something going as affordable as possible.

where are you guys purchasing your unichips from?

I contacted both Corksport and iON abou the Unichip. iON wil be offering the Unichip packaged with other products whereas Corksport will sell their's seperate at this time. I'm sure other Unichip installers in the Cincinnati area can get the chip as well.

I've been away for a while, BigTimm, I wasn't sure what I was doing, I talked with Jack today at Unichip and I don't have to reset it, that's just incase you ever need to reset your ecu because of the CEL, you don't have to unplug the battery.
Overall, I don't think the car can run better or smoother, although I'm sure it can be faster.
BTW, no race with the Z yet, I'm 100% sure i can take him in 2nd and third.
And how in the world do you launch with all that power? If I'm cruising at 40 and downshift to second, in the morning or at night, it will loose grip, so first gear is useless.
Vik.
