okay, skunk 2's were super noisy, but now, my ground controls are starting to make the same noise on my front right side (passenger).

anyone have this problem? fixed it? ideas? comments?

thanks!

What kind of noise?

Mine would make creeking noises all the time, until I greased the strut bearing on the top of the sleeve. It is a black plastic ring that sits on top of the coil-over cap and presses against the wheel well. Just make sure this is well greased and the squeek should go away.

Is it the popping noise or the rattle? I ziptied the tophats to the springs and it made many of my noises go away. There are 2 holes in each tophat that the zipties can go through.

wow, too bad I'm not in HI, that sounds like a sweet deal

when i have the car parked/off/etc, i open the door and if i jump on the... door sills (?) the car bounces and makes the noise. i think its a squeaking noise. when my front is slammed all the way, it doesnt make noise, but now that im raise 3/4 of the way, its really noisy.

i tried greasing b4, maybe i need to put a lot more? its worth a try w/ the zip tie idea.
thanks for the replies guys :)

any more ideas?

My plastic bushings are broken that sit on top of the GC's. Any one know where I can get new ones with out paying mazda 20 bux PER BUSHING!

hmm besides junkyard, no idea? u can probably post up in the forsale section that you WTB those. im sure ppl with full coilover setups have extra stock parts laying around.

I had that same irritating noise with my teins when I had it raised up more than half way. I slammed the s*** out of it and now it just has popping noises which I can deal with.

well i greased all for springs and used tie things on the front springs...

no problem now! thanks guys. hopefully it doesnt come back soon
