Granted I'm not a veteran like you guys at this bushing stuff, but I'm also pretty much convinced that it's just a bad bar for Soma. It's been adequately cold/wet/slushy/snowy here and I kid you not, the road I take to work every day is the worst road on this entire planet outside of the roads in Afghanistan. I mean that road alone is probably killing my entire car but I still haven't heard a peep out of the E bushings. I'm almost fully convinced that Mazda has finally fixed the problem.....although the real test will be to pay to get new bushings put on in the middle of summer to see if there's a noticable handling improvment....the bushings might be quiet but are they working up to par like they should? Only time will tell.
This would be so much easier if Mazda would, once again, remove its head from its anus and put a note in the TSB so the stupid grease monkies know that they might have to replace the bar along with the bushings. But of course Mazda must repeat history and make it as tough on the owners as possible...I dread the day I have to convince my dealer to give me a new bar. If it's not in the bulliten it will be like pulling teeth. Hopefully I'll never have to do it.
