Yes, if the bar is old is needs to replaced as well otherwise the bushings won't have a good enough surface to fit properly....ie not tight enough.

Thanks I will get that replaced if it starts happening. Way to busy with the holidays now. I will test my dealership (how dumb can they be?)

yea i had to take my car up to the mazda dealership about my brushings it was so bad when i hit a bump i thought the car was going to come apart at the back seats:wtf: but the guy just told me that the fluid for my back brushings was low. (i didn't even know brushings had fluid) who i'm kidding i don't even know what the look like but anyway he put some in it and test drove it problem gone :D ........

fluid? that's a new one.
I think finding a new dealership would do you well...

they could have the greaseable ones on their from Energy Suspensions. They have to be greased from time to time. Maybe that's what he's calling fluid. Otherwise, he's a complete moron.

New dealership.....definitely.

I think Knox was joking. Little does he/she know that we've all heard so many BS stories about the bushings that we fail to laugh anymore.:'( :D

Sounds like I am driving a truck during the cold mornings. :(

my car is supersqueeky when it's below freezing....it really burns me that I just got the bushings replaced too, although I can't complain much since the replacements were free under warranty ^_^

Vulcanon, take it in and show it to them. If they replace the front bushings, the sound will go away and your car will feel better. Whether its because something is actually tighter or its just because you feel like its better because you don't hear anything is still yet to be determined (lol2)

I was traveling to work today here in MN and the car seemed to shutter from 1st to 2nd gear when driving for the first 10 minutes. You can barely hear it after it's warmed up. I'm assuming this is the clutch chatter? I just saw the other post. What do you think? I have the new E's, the bar is not new though but why would the bar make the car shudder when cold?

there is a tsb for clutch chatter on the mp3?

I have to wait till it gets down to 0 degrees it's not acting up with the warmer weather. Thx. Not sure if the clutch chatter is in the rear or not?

seems it chatters even when warm a bit. You can kinda hear it. Well enough chatter that is another post!
