Are there clear corners actually made for our MP5? I searched the forum and I only found people using ones for RX-7. Thanks.

No, none made for the car. You can get RX-7 ones or ones for a newest-gen Celica. I believe the RX-7 ones require a little modification to the hole in the bumper.

Does that mean the Celica ones fit perfectly? If so how much does it cost and where can I get one? Thanks again.

The Celica clears still require some modification. There is a do-it-yourself somewhere on here. It's been so long since it was done on my car, I don't remember how to do it. Wish I could help more!

You can find the Celica lenses on eBay for really cheap though.

I got my Celica sides a couple days ago. Simple install. Just turn them upside down and they fit perfectly!

I'll post some pictures this weekend.

Now that will work! *Runs to the internets to go shopping*

ones from an Eclipse are said to work also.. I used the Celica ones and didn't have to cut my bumper any! No modification necessary! Was a quick and easy mod!

Or you could tint your stockers with nite shades. About $10 a can at your local tire store.

Don't rule out color matching them. IMO its the cleanest look.

Yeah if the car is silver or black or another easy color to match..

but not even having them anymore is teh awesomesauce.

id rather have them and have my bumper match my car ;p

hush you

if anyone wants a spare set of them to play around with, I have one brand new driver's side one (orange) and one sunlight silver passenger side one :)

Yeah Kansei, I agree that the car looks better with them completely gone. I replaced my fender-bendered (or bumper-bendered) bumper cover with one from an MP3. Looks so much better.......awesomesauce
Oh, but my bumper matches though :P

I also think that it would look best to have no bumper side markers at all. However I think it isn't worth it if you take the cost into consideration. Whether you decide to fill the holes or change a bumper, it would cost a couple hundred dollars. Clear corners looks a lot better than the orange ones, doesn't cost much, and it would be an easy mod if you can find one that fits which I hope I can.

I like my clear corners. I'd rather have a light on than no light; that light might save me from some idiot driver some night. (maybe) hehe

That's the corners I have. IIRC, I had to cut a little into the bumper to get it to fit right. No big deal since I never plan to go back to the stockers.

Well I just got my Celica fights tonight and
-they DON'T fit (too small, openings in bumper are exposed
-they weren't cheap
really annoyed. not sure what to do. I might cut a thin sheet of styrene plastic offset 2mm around the celica lights profiles and paint that plastic to match my car....
