Chrome Plating

Hey guys, when getting something chrome plated, what is usually the turn around on something like that, how long will it take for me to get, lets say, my valve cover back from the chrome place?

depending on the shop and if there backed up. or if you have to send it off it could take a week. the plating it's self can be done in a matter of a few hours but usually it takes them longer to get it done

I was wanting to bling out my factory 16s(I like the way they look) with chrome plating. Any one have any idea how much this would cost?

what's the difference between normal chrome and black chrome???

black chrome is exactly what it seems... it looks more smoked like a gunmetal type finish but still mirror style.. pretty hott my bmx bike is black chrome.

like i mean is it different metal or just plain coloured chrome? i like the look of black chrome
