oh yeah, good job on taking criticism. you asked for an opinion, so i gave you mine. that MKIV supra has the outline done, but the body was filtered. don't flame me because you can't take criticism.

and i know that my cell shading isn't the best, but i try. i didn't start using photoshop last week like you did, i've been trying to practice this every chance i got since december. when people called my work s***, i worked harder at it to improve my technique, unlike you, who decided hey this s*** looks easy i think i'll take a crack at it and thought you were the hottest s*** since cell shading was started. honestly, keep telling me that you did every single shade on that supra, and i'll just keep on working on mine to get approval from you.

personally, i'm going with j.flo's style on this.

in the grand scheme of things, when i think "cell shading", i think flat, simple, hardly-defined shapes and images.


yours (turkish) are really...

cartoonish.


no offence or anything, but j.flo's appeal to me way more, due to the fact that they basically, for lack of a better term, dull and soften the accents of the car. yours really draw too much attention to them, like in the supra. the first thing i looked at was that giant relection or whatever it is on the rear bumper, and then i realised it was a supra.

well, turkish, i must say that you did put a lot of time into the supra shading and i take back the filtering comment...but i think (in my opinion) that you should try to be more simplistic. the whole element behind cell shading is to create a kind of simple view to the car, instead of accenting every single little detail of the car. when i look at your picture, i get distracted by all the little different color variations, where in reality, the car only has the original body color, the shadows, and the highlights that give the car depth. the supra you did looks more like a kind of mosaic style painting. but yeah, that's my take on it...

Filters? I didn't use any filters. Despite what you think your cell shading looks horrible and mine is like 100 times better then the crap u are doing, thanks have a nice day.

actually yours looks like s***...that supra is horrible. It looks more like watercolor/stained glass than cell shading(blarf)

good job on that titanium Jflo, best one yet, especially with the background
