No other wheelers here huh? MSP is my first car, I've had nothing but trucks and Jeeps. Here is my weekend wheeler, '97 TJ - 4.0/AX-15 5 speed/231 combo. It's never done and gets a lot of the attention in the garage.
Current TJ:
You can see my old DD in this pic, the Titan, which I sold to get the MSP
High Pinion D30 that replaced the low pinion D30 (both in picture). Just a simple axle swap
Next it will get some armor and a Ford 8.8 rear axle. I'll weld the spider gears in the rear and throw an Aussie locker in the front for now. Lots of plans for this one!
Old TJ (sold
) Had a high pinion D44 up front with chromos, CTMs, ARB, 4.56s and the rear was a 9" with 35 spline chromos and ARB, triangulated four link rear with radius arm front, 37" Iroks, blah blah lots of mods, never really done.
That thing could FLEX like mad! Still had more uptravel and droop here yet I was at the top of the ramp
