Car Starters? suggestions

Hey, Winter is coming and I want to get a Car Starter anybody recommend a good one. I noticed a really annoying feature this week -if the car is running the keyless entry doesn't work. With my old car I would leave the key in the ignition to warm-up then use the keyless entry remote to get back in -not with the Protege. Hopefully a Command Start can override that.
