Hey, I just checked my cover, do the MSP/MP3 covers just cover the stock valve cover or they an actual valve cover themself? I really want to fit one on my DX..its an 11-bolt..

Not without the valve cover too.
It is what has the bolts are permentily attached to

no s***..but what im saying is..since the cover is 4-bolt..would those 4 bolts line up with mine? even though there is another 7 on there...it looks like it should fit and i can just put the cover over mine..looks like it should fit since its the same head and valve cover stock.just a difference in number of bolts for the pattern

The bolts on the valve cover look the same as mine I just have 4 shooting upward for the plastic cover too.

Yeah, I have probably called to bother you for stock checks in our flood season, you may even have been the one to transfer the dash pockets to attention, Chucklenuts!

Doesnt' DX/LX have 1.6 or 1.8 engines and MP3 and MSP have 2.0. There is a definately difference in side. I heard there are brackets to mount it so you don't need a new valve cover if you have 2.0

Braket, there are 4 bolts shooting up out fo the valve cover, atleast thats how the MP3s cover mounts.

na there are studs in the v/c's of mp3's and msp's

I took mine off and removed the studs cause it seemed to make air flow around the v/c slow down so much as too make the v/c hotter than it allready is. but it does make the engine compartment look neater

na the DX/LXs have 2.0L's..they are all the same motor..yea..i figured it was some stud s*** on the cover..damnit..i'll just paint it then

Ah, new meat :D

I never went to traing, got lucky I guess, don't add it tto your sig or others will ask for constant discounts!
