It's part of the drivetrain which is covered by Mazda, not extended warranty. Good until 60k miles. I'd be on the phone everyday and night until I got it fixed or flat out denied. **** letting your car just sit, it may smoke but it still drives.
Car had 1st turbo replaced at 20k in 2007 had to wait a 6 months cause mazda was on backorder. Car recently had 60412 miles on it when it started smoking again. Took it to dealer and had all my records of oil changed every 3-4k miles. Mazda denied me because of 412 miles. The extended warranty i bought was a powertrain warranty up till 70k miles but they say turbo isnt a component they cover. I am calling the poor soul 3 times a week to no avail because he keeps sayin they are playing hardball.
