2 IT positions in Santa Clara

These positions are in Santa Clara - you can see Great America from the parking lot.

Looking for a mid to senior level sys admin, and an entry level helpdesk. Both are full time but the helpdesk one would probably be contract-to-hire.

Sys admin - it's Linux/Windows heterogenous environment. DB experience is needed, specifically MySQL and MS SQL2000. Cisco switch knowledge would be great too. General Linux troubleshooting skills, NFS, Automounts, Cyrus mail, Spamassassin. Windows admin skills - mainly Exchange 2003 and ADS, but MOM2003 would be great too. Scripting skills are a big plus. PM or email me for more details. It's a small company (about 200 people) and I like my sys admins to be jacks of all trades since we used to have very specialized admins and it caused problems when people wanted to take vacations. That doesn't mean you have to know it all, it means you have to want to know it all. ;) Our best benny - 5 weeks paid vacation a year starting the first year.(naughty)

Also looking for an entry level helpdesk person, some help desk experience would be good, but looking for aptitude and attitude more than anything. Customer service and troubleshooting skills are the key traits to have, as well as the ability to act professional in a business enviornment. It's a GREAT opportunity for someone trying to break into IT helpdesk/desktop support.
