Bye Blue MSP

Hey guys, just wanted to let you guys and gals know I traded my blue MSP(2292). I really liked the car, but was far too busy to deal with the problems I was having. I also enjoyed this forum very much, it is one of the most informative forums I have been to. My car remained 100% stock till I traded it. I didn't get anything, my wife got a new Expedition, I get her 03' GTI. I was thinking about $75 for the MBC, FPR, and FCD plus shipping. I think I paid about $130 in Nov. I don't know about the tuner maybe $50. blu_msp

that's not what i'm talking about...i don't pay for 2 cars, i maintain them and my parents are nice enough to give them to me.

*but if it ever came down to having to sacrifice my car (if i did make payments on my own) because my girlfriend wanted to get herself a new one, i'd tell her to start saving.

I'll probably hang around, just to see what becomes of the MSP in terms of aftermarket support and mods; ie performance. Yeah, can't complain too much a GTI isn't too bad. The car had 8000 miles on it, it was in perfect condition, not a scratch or dent. The only mod was tinted windows. They (dealers) offered me anywhere from 8900 to 14000. The 14000 came from Carmax. I settled for 12700 because of the tax savings. Peace Blu_MSP.

GTI isnt bad...good potential and lots of aftermarket support. A bit on the heavy side but german enginuity. Damn...sucks that you took a bit of a loss on that trade in. Best wishes!

When you said you gave it up cuz of the problem you were having, it wasnt problems with the car was it?

MazdaSpeedTurbo, I'm waiting on you, I setup a paypal account. Yeah, I was having oil and coolant leaks, went to the dealer for the same problems like 6-7 times. The lines going to the turbo (3) were all leaking oil even after they had been replaced. The coolant T-line that resides above the turbo continued leaking after it had been replaced, twice and I had a check engine light that the dealer couldn't figure out. It registered a code corporate didn't even know (supposedly). Like I said, I loved the car, just too busy to deal with it right now.
