brushed look emblems....

Have you people ever seen the scion badges???? They are a brushed look so do you guys think that I could make my badges look like that somehow??? I love the brushed look over the chrome.

the mazdaspeed protege badges are satin finish, you could swap the ones that fit

I'm guessing the front grille badge is interchangeable, and maybe the two side badges on the rear (but they read MAZDASPEED and Protege, rather than MAZDA and Protege5)

I think the flying M in the center is smaller on a P5, but not 100% sure

Pull off your emblems and take fine grit sand paper to them to simply scuff them. then add several coats of clear coat. It will give them a brushed look. I did that to one of my front emblems and it looked awesome.
