I know... They don't taste too good. I prefer Snook. :)

lol, have you eaten one before? I didn't know that was possible. Snook and Red Fish are always better:)

yeah I've tried some.... I grew up fishing where the Everglades meets the ocean. Lots of Tarpon, Snook, Sea Trout, and stuff to catch and eat (or release). In all honesty if you want a good fight on light tackle.. Nothing beats a good fight w/ a Jack Crevalle.

I'm a born n bred Floridian. I just live in CT against my will.

oooo that is a nice one. I used to look for the kicked up mud the trout left behind and cast out into the thick of things. I used to have this awesome Rapala lure that was a sinker and rattled. Had a red head, silver sides, and darker spots down the side.. That thing was a sea trout and snook magnet. It makes me sad they don't make it anymore. :(

Ontopic post: Umm... nice boat! That is definitely a fisherman's boat. The entire deck is free from junk that will get in the way to walk around while fighting a fish. ;) Although.... It looks to be a freshwater one.

I love fishing off those flats boats, you can walk all the way around the outside without the boat moving:)
