Bronze rims on a silver

Hey all,

I'm looking to go 17" and am curious about bronze rims. I like the Sparco NT-R 5 thin spoke design (R1 Racing Riko5 is identical for less $) in bronze and am trying to get a feel for how'd they look on a silver P5.

First is the R1 version, which can be had as low as $140, and second is the Sparco version that averages about $220.

Below is my photoshop'd rendition.

Next are the wheels in an actual photo. They're much darker, which leads me to believe my photoshop hack color is all wrong. I'll probably have to redo. It's hard to find a stock pic of bronze on silver, and forget bronze on a silver P5.

Here's a silver RX-8 with what appear to be the bronze NT-R's. They're available in black, bronze, silver, and white. These aren't black.

I know it's a personal decision, but if there is serious thought that this looks gay or something.

I was thinking they're a little too skinny, and our brakes dont really fill the gap like on that RX8. Might look funky.

I'm probably getting bronze wheels on my sunlight silver sedan next spring, if I can find one light weight enough. I think the bronze looks good, and the whole rest of the world has dark rims. I say go for it.

bronze is best! i got a good deal on my gunmetals so i went with them, but bronze is beautiful. Both rims look good

I've never been a big fan of bronze rims (seen too many blue subies with them on) But they are really starting to grow on me on black vehicles.

I love black rims on silver cars. The bronze...... not feeling it.

yep, a bit on the skinny side. if you got a big brake kit to fill out the space behind the wheel, it would probably look a lot better.

i think they look sweet with on the silver i say get them if you like em who cares what anyone else thinks? alot of people don't like mine but i do and thats all that matters
