Has anyone replaced their PCV valve cover return line with a breather filter and capping off the hole in the intake pipe? It's the line that comes out the right side of the valve cover back into the intake tract. I did this to keep the throttle plate from gumming up with oily residue and I'm seeing if anyone else noticed it improved the throttle response or if it's just in my head.
The purpose of this line is to scavenge the hot blowby gases back into the intake tract for emissions purposes which also allows oil film build up on the throttle plate and intake manifold. So my theory here is that no more hot oily air is going back in the engine, and cooler air is better since rich a/f cars like cold air.

Looks like I'll be getting an oil catch can.
