Not bad if you have an older Protege. I wouldn't recommend that kind of job on a 00 & UP Protege. Unless you really have too much money and too much time on you hands.
These type of garage projects are always interesting to read about...must bring tons of personal satisfaction knowing you designed and setup your own project beast...assuming everything works out and you don't hang yourself playing with the wiring harness
