here's one thing about illegal mexicans. i'll get flamed, but whatever. they will do the s*** jobs that we don't want to do. i certainly don't want to be a janitor, field worker picking up lettuce or fruit, or more demeaning jobs that they do.

so are they taking away jobs here? yeah, but no one wants to do them anyways, and i like eating lettuce and strawberries. i like the fact that when i go to the bathroom at work, it's clean. sure there's more cons than pros to illegal immigrants: security threat, health care, the economy, but i digress... flame away, i probably deserve it.

It's really not as simple as them taking work from Americans. The will do the work, which in turn tells the companies that since they have people willing to do such degrading work they can pay them the shittiest wages. Thus starting from the lowest end of the spectrum as possible. Now I don't only compete for a job with someone that IS qualified for a job, but someelse who will do it for a shitload less $$$, on most occasions.

I have to jump on this one. My grandfather, god rest his soul, was a Gardner, he worked hard his entire life and lived a very simple life. When he was doing his work there wasn't nearly the competition there is now and who holds most of those jobs, you guessed it, Hispanics. I have nothing against any nationality or color or creed whatsoever, but what I have a problem with is people that don't have a right to work in this country coming here and possibly taking a job from someones elses grandfather that had his god given right as an American to work in this country.

Many of you have probably seen how construction companies pull up to certain areas where numerous Hispanics congregate and then take so many of them off to sweep floors and do labor style jobs for a day, well that's just bulls*** in my book, hire an American to do the job, use the Unions like your supposed to, cut corners and hire cheap, illegal workers to do you job just so you can have more money in your pocket you assholes.<O</O
