Yup. We have a stock boost controller. It's called a wastegate.

dude its cool i was just kidding but yes when yoou install ur new boost contoller it will just hold wastegate open longer for more boost.

Actually its not that bad of a question because many turbo cars have something called a "boost solenoid valve" that is controlled by the ecu.

Technically, you can adjust the wastegate spring, by turning the actuator rod....
But yes, i hope you have a boost gauge before you go intalling that MBC...
