just a little tip IF you guys arent sure about the paint, i bought the paint at LOWES, but im pretty sure that you can also buy it at home depot or sumthin. i did it and it was easier than cake: once you've baked it you just need patience and carefulness to remove the lens from the housing.. (takes a while) be careful not to dent the housing while doing this, (flathead screw driver) then comes sanding... (the long part) good luck guys!!

Yeah I've done it so many times now it's really cake. I'll be doing mine again just because I didnt sand it well last time. This time I'm prepared. I'm trying rustoleum black paint made for plastics use. Home depot didn't have any sandpaper with a finer grit than 400 though, argh. I knew I should have found an auto parts store near where I work, they always have higher grits.

Not that I can get anything really because I'm leaving from work right now to drive back to CT and won't get there until 11:30, but is there anything that needs to be brought? Tools and stuff?

I have my mechanics set but I didn't get a chance to make sure everything was still in it haha. Crap I don't think I remembered my special socket for getting the lug nuts off my summer wheels >_< oh well I'll just have to deal with it. I'm not adding an hour onto my trip to run back to my house downtown to grab that.

Hmm...it sounds like you're gonna have a great turnout. I may just pick up my Dad's truck in Foxboro and bring it to your place to work on it. All I have left to do is mount/install the midgate and finish running wires. I gotta be home by 3:00 though because I've got plans for dinner.

Woot....I will be on the road in roughly 6 hours! I got a small socket set in the hatch and a couple screwdrivers and powder free gloves as well...plenty for all. Guess I will throw my jack stands in too, wasn't sure if the tires had to come off, but it will make life easier.

Altspace - if you log on before leaving and still have the intake, I am still interested if it's f/s. If so, please bring and hopefully we can work something out. I would just have to work it to fit with my auto tranny....but from what I have read it can be done...

See you guys in the morning....back to the fam!

Cool, I'll bring it. See everyone soon. I'm bringing my camera....as if I really need to tell you that.
