always turn your wheel in the direction your car is fishtailing.

Yeah, if I'm taking a right turn and fish tailing to the left, the last thing I'm going to do is turn to the left. If yout hink he did it right, go drive your car and wreck it. One less station wagon.

if u dont then your gonna end up in the left ditch backwards

atleast if you steer in the direction of the skid you have a much greater chance of regaining rear traction and steering away from the left ditch

I fishtailed my car on the test drive! Same thing, the rear end slid to the left during a right turn, I recovered by steering left. Had I steered right (opposite of where rear wheels were trying to go) like BinaryRotary apparently thinks is proper, I would have been in a heap of trouble. Instead, I was so impressed with the MSP's handling that I bought the car.

i do think one reason why is that my tires had about 9500 miles on them....i bet if i had good tires then everything would have been alright

was it snowing around? msp tires suck in snow/ice conditions. 9500 miles, if not like dragged all the time isnt that much treadwear. in dry/summer conditions, the tires are excellent.

The tires are truly excellent. Part of the problem with having such great tires is that by the time you exceed their limits, things happen so fast that you have little time to react. On an average car with average tires, things happen a bit more slowly.

I had the fish tailing problem too. I think the rear suspension is too tight, or the cold really sucks for these stock tires.

i think it is the former. wait until the summer, and most of all dont total it so it can truely shine during the summer :)

trust me you will be very pleased with the MSP's summer performance.

I was driving down hill thru a curve and out of no where my car felt like fish tailing right towards the water, i recovered or so i thought untill my car took a full out 360 spin about 4 inches away from flying my ride in to a happy little Palm Tree.

P.S. i got new rims hehe

not yet....i do really need to go to my friends and get some scanned......i dont know. im just procrastinating....hopefully ill do it soon!
