I dont see why it wouldn't work but you would have to get a custom turbo manifold for the most part.

chek the manifold it should me tricky but i t will work just remenber if u doit turbo get no more than15 pounds of turbo dont push it to the max this engines have a trick to it w / turbo but im certain it will work and get a goooood fuel pump youy will need it .

Hehe IMO i think 15 psi is high for stock internals. Not for the daily driver. And with all these story's of engines blowing on p5's the voltage clamp is not a bad idea. Widebands are good too to be on the safe side.

you guys talking about leaving the twin turbo set up or single? ill get a real picture of the turbos tommorow

these weren't the most reliable turbocharger assemblies on the market, so have someone check it out to make sure they're in good working order. i don't know that the protege puts out the exhaust flow needed to spool both turbos properly. still, i like the idea alot and want to see what kind of progress you can make with it.

either way... I don't know too much about turbos but I've always thought one turbo is usually smaller to get the bigger turbo to spin faster.

i was doin research on the turbo set up, and the wastegates are designed to have one turbo kick in intill it hits a certain rpm, then the primary one kicks in.

Yea the smaller one should kick in first at low rpm then once the exhaust flow is enough for the big one it kicks in as well. But you said they're the same size so idk anymore =P

yea they are the same exact size lol, well they both are small so maybe thats why it works
