Better Than Stock Battery?

Does anyone know what kind of battery I could get for more output, and more power without damaging my electrical system? What about an alternator? I want my voltage not to drop when I run my accessories, so that my fuel pump will have enough power when I am boosting. What solutions do you have? I plan on getting an in-line fuel pump.

Just get a optima deep cell battery and you will be fine. I ran a 800 watt stereo on my stock altenator and it was fine. Just get that deep cell. Oh yeah BTW the batterys autozone or advance auto carries that look like optimas well they are but just rebadged and alot cheaper.

I'm saying that they sell a battery that looks jsut like a red top optima deep cell and that it is a optima deep cell just relabeled and it costs less for some reason. Look on the label and you will see it was manufactured by optima.

Fair warning, being someone who has an optima and a BEGI turbo. You will have to come up with another way to fasten down the FPR becuase to fit an optima in you have to hack off the end of the tray. Although If I remember correctly you can cut off the rear of the tray instead of the front.

For mine I just took one of the stock brackets that come off the car with the install of the begi and used it to fasten the FPR to a bolt for the motor mount.

Also I have an aftermarket alternator, 200 amp, I think its causing some stalling problems. Basicly at idle, slowing down + the alternator + brakes + turbo blockage is just to much.

I've heard nothing but good things about Optima batteries...and like CHDesign, I've heard that there are rebadged Optimas...save yourself some cash for other mods. :D

Alot of different companies rebadge optimas. Tsunami in the car audio world is one.
