did any of you all get tracking number?? or did they just come USPS, ups or fed ex or what?

1000 for the Trax#, I asked for one and never got one???

I received tracking (on only the pipes) but that was after I was really annoying. I didn't get tracking on any of the other items.


It has been one big clusterfuck over here trying to get this thing though. Got the pipes and blue couplers (ordered black), got the core (no hardware), got the bracket (still no black couplers), and have yet to get the hardware for the bracket.

Yeah thats better pricing for sure but still pretty high, the only reason I even brought up my 2 cents is because the title is "Best bang for $$$$ FMIC" after all. Seems a bit contradictory to me, maybe I'll post a DIY with links and have a price list for this specific fmic install with which pipes I used and where to cut your piping with nice little photo shopped dotted lines when I put mine together, I can see it now "FMIC for under $250" I mean who cares If your core is made out of recycled Burmese soda cans as long as it holds psi and cools (which they do)

Edit: and it only took about 4-5 days for me to get ALL my components

I feel your pain.. I paid 3 weeks ago( June 15th) an got nothing NO trax and asked for one, Hell if he told me they where out of stock I would have kept shopping. At least you got something to look at. Today maybe the last straw if it doesnt come.. The thing that really tics me off is I could have bought 2 differnt Corksport kits and had it installed already.. Paypal may be getting open claim. :/..

Mine should be here tuesday to. Ill be posting dyno graphs on thursday. Im gonna install Pg intake and fmic on the dyno. Ill post a new thread.

HaHa for sure. I guess its a combination of ordering stuff and not getting it. I feel like a little kid again waiting for christmas morning. I ordered the FMIC and the STS kit. So i'm frekin impatient at this point I just want to install something. Shoot it took me long enough to talk my wife into letting me spend the money.

Does anyone know if it's supposed to include a bracket or not? What's in the picture is all I received for the core. I'm reading through the HOW TO thread and there's been some posts about the fact that it doesn't need the bracket? *shrug*

My bracket came separately, it barely fits on the car though...

The bracket is almost useless but still make sure Ken sends it to you. When I first installed my kit, the core was sitting way too low. I did some adjusting with the pipes and got the core high enough so I was able to push it up close enough to the bracket (which I had to bend considerably) and was able to screw one of the nuts into the core. It keeps the core in the right place and since the pipes are tight enough the thing doesn't move at all.

Did you get the bracket with your core?

I installed mine on Saturday after making my own bracket to fit the PG bracket. I just couldn't wait any longer as I was trying to make the NOPI show but ended up missing anyways because the install took longer than I expected.

I am still expecting the real hardware and hopefully the right color couplers sometime in the next year.

Edit: Make sure you remove your ambient air sensor before you put the bumper back on.... or you will have to fix some fins on the core...

I think you guys have convinced me to attempt the this evening without the bracket. Let's see how it goes I guess.. The FMIC install will go first before the piping just in case it doesn't work..

I bought a steel strip that already had holes in it, I brought both the bracket and the core in with and the strip matched the holes very well.

But wrestling with the provided bracket was probably the worst part, bending it, getting it to line up with the holes on the bumper support... I was considering just making my own out of the rest of the strip I bought. It can definitely be done.

Yes I did.. I will be trying to install Saturday am (2thumbs)
