wow Ceej, my grandfather was sitting on a tank in France just cruising through the city when a frenchman (unhappy about having american troops on their soil) threw a grenade on their tank. It blew the back half of his skull off and blinded him for 4 years. He lived and was sent back to Georgia but refused to go on disability. Instead he got a job going door-to-door selling cigars. His wife (my step grandmother) walked him everywhere he went. She's a saint! One morning he woke and had near perfect vision after 4 years of blindness. He was so shocked he pissed himself and couldn't talk for 2 days. He wasn't a war hero, but he was a great man. It's amazing the amount of "real men" that are also soldiers. They must put something good in that water they serve.....I'm guessing honor.
