AWR speedvision header- LATEST update

I am going to get on this tomorrow- and I will post if I get a reply. Hopefully we will get some info back and MAYBE some sort of time frame.
Ass usual- I will keep everyone posted.

I'll take a header but I agree, better look nice and perform the same, my posts are like 20 words or less :-P

as long as its around the $350-$450 range this will be my first mod i will buy...
let me know when youll be selling and ill be one of the first to order one.... but i want one that i DONT have to modify... i want strictly a bolt on mod without any mods needed.

I in... however I like the idea of it being just a bolt on.... modifying sucks ass, but im down.

Needs to be stainless steel, bolt-on, eliminate the first cat (no real gains on the shorty Focus header from JBA), no more than $500.

I would buy the header if it gains at least 10hp at the wheels; even if it needs a new cat-back. As for off-road use only, like a car.

If you wanna go hug a tree, go ride a bike.

Tony has contacted me again, and informed me that he is now pursuing this item on his own. He was hoping for some support from Mazda R&D, but apparently he will not be getting it. I'll keep everyone informed as soon as I hear anything.

A Header At Last!!!!!

I think anyone that gets an MP3 or a P5 will definately be interested in a header.

When my Acura GS-R was brand new I bought the CAI, Header, and Catback in less than twoo weeks.

I've been looking around to do the same thing with my P5 but the header seems to be the missing link here. If it performs I will have no problem spending money on a header. A CAI and Catback Exhaust will do minimal improvement if the Header is missing. Not to mention the cat and the pre-cat chocking the engine to death.

Peace!

With good performance rating and good looks, I'll be interested in this product too. Don't have any mods on my car currently and not interested in heavy-duty modification to my car at this early stage.... but a header definitely sounds very attractive. I don't mind throwing in around $400 (including shipping) for one, especially if it is stainless steel. :)

p.s. - oh forgot to add that I would prefer a 4-2-1 style for mid-range :D

I too would enjoy having a header, not looking for anything major right now, and currently only cosmetics are being done. will soon be looking at buying either an MHP or ingen CAI not sure which yet, think i'm leaning towards the ingen with the addition of a bypass valve.

Probably won't be buying it till mid summer though as i'm just getting out of college and with monthly car payments will need a week or two of work to pay for the new header.

Bolt on would be nice, and however they can get the HP would be fine by me.

Thanx, hope to see this soon so i can hear some feed back on it, and if i can save some money once i know the price maybe i can get it when it comes out.

Enjoy driving

Did Tony mention anything about advance orders, cuz I'd pay up front to get him going. If everyone put up, we'd be in.

Not a bad idea... I'll send him a note and mention it tomorrow, we can at least see what he has to say. I'll get back when I get a reply.

pay upfront?

hey, I already emailed awr a while ago and Tony wrote back saying something was going on and I should get back with him soon.. then I found this thread. hehe.

Anyways, I am totally in. Is the general consensus that awr knows their sh!t? If so, I am in for prepaying....

The laws in Vancouver arent as tough as cali when it comes to emissions (I think :) so as long as it passes carb crap in usa then it'll work for me.

I just want more power, dont want "check engine" lights....

thanks!

So does anybody know when they are going to get this header out? I dont think I can wait any longer. Somebody has to make one soon.
