Good job! I f I were you I would race on streets for a year first before getting R compounds, or get the Falkens and stay in the road tire classes. But I do think the MSP can be a very competative car in DS on R-compounds, just remember that you cannot use these tires in STS/STX (whichever the MSP falls under) My first year (last year) I ran my Audi 4000 on streets in STS, it was competative and I learned a lot, but this year I switched to a FWD car on R-compounds and it's a BIG difference, last year I didn't have to worry about when to get on the gas, since I had quattro I could get on it early and power out (not that the car's 115hp did a lot of powering anything
) This year I have been apexing too late and not using my brakes enough, so I'm losing time and speed in the corners, I have to relearn everything. You showed consistant improvement in your times and that is a good sign, just remember if you aren't hitting cones, you aren't going fast enough
I have been averaging 1 cone per event, the last event I got sideways and wiped out 3 on my first run. Have fun!
