Yep, Jeff Haas Mazda has "loaner" from Mazda. I just got the e-mail today, and I went by to look at it tonight. Spicy Orange = yummy!!! I can't wait to see it in daylight though.
The bad part is though, you can't test drive it. Because it is on loan from Mazda, the dealer is not allowed to put any wear, and tear on the car. But, you can still sit in it, start it up, play with the stereo and stuff. And you can actually see one up close and personal.
The guy I spoke to tonight, really didn't have much to say about it, except how cool it was. He was showing another customer the car when I showed up. It was sad because the customer kept asking the salesman questions, and I kept answering for him.
Anyways, they won't have the car for very long. I'm not sure excatly how long it will be there, but I bet the car is "on tour". I think Mazda is putting a few out(to show off), because they are still trying to keep interest peaked while the car is still being held back.
If anyone goes down there to check it out, ask for Mark Watts. This is the guy I first talked to, a few weeks ago. He is pretty cool, and he is also younger than most of the salesman there.
Tell him Al sent you.

slug, 821 miles on the car.

I talked to Mark some more today. He's not sure how long the MSP will be at their dealership, it belongs to another dealer somewhere else in TX. So, if anyone wants to check out an MSP in the flesh, GO NOW!!! hahahaha

Anyways, the car looks sooooo much better in person. I can't wait to take one for a spin. Jeff Haas is slated to get a black one sometime next week. It did have a deposit on it, but, I think the guy may have backed out. As soon as that one gets in, I will post, so anyone that wants to test drive, or even buy it, can.

Also, if you go down there, ask Mark to show you Mr. Haas's Protege. All I have to say about that car is... SWEEEEEETTTT!!!!!!!
They did all the work to it, in-house. And Mr. Haas pesonally picked the mods that went on it. I'll have to ask Mark for a parts list of what is on the HaasProtege.

Sounds like it's one of the cars they used for the dealer introductions and magazine tests. I hope it's not one they plan on selling to people considering the miles. Sad as it is to say, I'd rather see it go to the crusher than to be sold as potentially damaged goods.
