Which strip club does she work at in town? Is it near a military base, because of course most Marines spend their loot on beer and strip clubs. I've been to the clubs near the bases when I went with other Marines. I never wanted to go inside the businesses, but most stated that they dated the girls inside. By my statisics, that would mean that there were at least 15 guys for each girl. Lucky women to have that many "boyfriends". A lot of them got into fist fights because they thought one of the girls there were "their girl". Then the next guy walked in, then the next one slept with her, then their friend got with her, etc. Too many military guys dating or married strippers around base. Easiest job to have since there's a strip bar on every corner. Then of course, alot of them were also pretty young. Late teens, early 20's. And alot of girls lied about being "with" someone until the husband or real boyfriend showed up. Then it was "oh come on, he's just a customer... that's all". I like my money coming from a place where I know taxes and the IRS won't come after me. Also, since I chose law enforcement, I know it would've ruined my chances at being an officer. And eventually when you want a REAL career, you won't get paid what you're worth because no one wants to hire a stripper that has a degree in criminal justice and hasn't worked a day in her life outside the club. Most girls have this problem once they get out into the "real world".
How does the day care thing work out if you get deployed? Are the grandparents of your kid proud of her? Could her parents not afford to send her to college? Why is she having to strip instead of getting another job part time? Must be about the easy money.
The difference between looking at porn and being apart OF IT, is not needing to shove a $1 in the VCR or DVD player everytime you watch it.
I've been with my husband 5 years, we met in the military back in 94 and started a serious relationship a few years back. Not once have we been to a strip club. None of the guys I ever dated earlier in my life had gone to a strip club while dating me either. If they did, they would've gotten dumped. If you dont like the cow, then buy your milk somewhere else.
I don't know why you are bashing his way of life so much. Every person has a different view of what's right and wrong. I think you are also generalizing a lot about the military. Those places you talk about are there to take advantage of the young ones who are away from home. Most of the guys I know and work with are some of the most respectable people I have met. You consider some things immoral that others are doing, but some of us may consider you naive for your opinions (neither being wrong just from a different perspective).(hippy)
Not bashing his way of life, just asking about it. And I don't generalize, I make comments and ask questions when I know several of people that are in this line of "work". I'm not against it but I'm not for it either. I'm a neutral party. But being in the military for 10 years and living at most duty stations that I have, I'm pretty familiar with life around military installations. And this is something VERY common. It's not being naive, it's being informed and basing what I know from experience and friendships with these girls. And I've said that his wife is probably the 10% of strippers that are not like the others. But 90% of them ARE this way. Read the posts again. No hard feelings, but I dont think you're looking at where my point of view came from.

First off, I dont have to justify my life to you. My wife and I have made decisions that best fit OUR life. If you don't like them, then don't follow our lead, plain and simple. Her parents are proud of her and my parents are proud of her and most of all I am proud of her, not because of her job, but because she is a great mother, wife and student.laracroft said:

And I'm techniqually not in any more, but once a Marine always a Marine. And no we did not meet at a strip club. She worked at one for a few months before we met. We were married for a few years before she went back to stripping. And like I said above I do not need to justify our life to you. I have explained it in other threads before. So take it or leave it. You live your life and I'll live my life. All I asked going back to my first post is don't think all strippers are drugged out/STD farm/****** or lesbians. My wife isn't thank you very much. And if you don't want your spouse or significant other going to a strip club or looking at porn cause you dont like it or find it disrespectful (2thumbs) for you thats your choice. Not my wife's or my choice. Now have a nice day and a nice life.
Never asked for a justification. But as long as you're happy and don't care what anyone says, then that's all that matters then isn't it? But you knew you would have people ask you questions or give a comment about it. Not my business and you have every right to do whatever you always wanted to do in life. Just wondering why she chose to go back and do that instead of something else. Most are teens or in their early 20's and get out. The girls I knew stopped stripping and became bar tenders after they got older. Metabolism and stretch marks after having a child, etc. Which I guess explains why she probably stopped and went back to it, I dont know. Is she almost 30 too? Did she get her degree yet? Its understandable to ask questions. Sorry to get defensive, but I have answered these questions before and these thread wasn't really about my life. But she is only 25 and plans to quit in the next few years. Unfortently To work a job that she would make 1/2 of what she makes now so we can pay day care she would be working 7 days a week. And either going to school at night or working at night like she is now. The job sucks, we both hate it, but we both know its not to much longer. Ya the money is great but people think it so cool to be married to a stipper until I tell them to look at it from my side. I mean come on my wife is dancing for other guys, and they only want her for one thing and I dont see her 3 to 4 nights a week. We will escpecially need the money soon since my GIB is going to run out (damn 36 month crap).laracroft said:
