thanks guys i appriciate all the help

do you work in roswell like at taco mac or around there? I work at party city and have seen a girl in a msp around there. Is that you?

If you want, maybe we can run on my race compound tires and take some trophies in D-stock. I've actually never driven a MSP, but if it's as fast as an ITR in the straights and corners like the MP3, then I think with a little set-up the thing would be something to recon with. Plus it has an LSD!!!

So does anyone want to let me co-drive/set-up their MSP to run in DS. (thumb)

Ugh...I can't freakin wait until the 22nd. The turbo Miata is staring me down. I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE ARRRRGGGHH!

Ok, I'm better now. I need to get a Cat on that car so I can register it and drive it legally (Shush, Luke ;) ).

The beauty of living in Barrow county....no emissions!!!

I'm am chompin' at the bit for the next event...I'm trying a new alignment and tire pressures. The dang thing just wasn't rotating like I wanted with these sticky-ass tires on it! Should be scary.

Kevin-- you got a passenger seat in that thing? I must have a ride!

ARRG! Is there any way I can register in another county? lol. I seriously doubt this thing would pass emissions in Fulton with as rich as it's running (unless I have a massive Cat). But I'm going to give it a try anyway.

And yes, I do have a passenger seat :D . If I can get the car to the event (read: acquire a trailor), I'll be running TO sessions in both the morning and afternoon with it. Since SM2 runs in the afternoon, I want as much seat time with the car as I can get. So I figure I'll blow this event and just have fun.

I'm not offering....but my brother has a trailer we use to haul the Spec around in. Maybe we can arrange something.

Hmm, that's a thought. I have a tow vehicle that I can use. I just need a trailer. Ask him if he would mind. How far is Barrow from Alpharetta?

Well, my brother lives in Lawrenceville, off of Hwy 29 and Sugarloaf (basically the Fair Grounds), so however long it takes for you to get to the Fairgrounds is where he is from you, but i"m guessing 30min. at least.

Ahh cool. That'd work. Let me know if he's open to it. I currently have the boss's enclosed trailer on the line right now, but there is lots going on at the office right now, so that is still somewhat up in the air.....who knows.

"Plan B" is always good to have.

ya my car would never pass the sniff test now its catless and running alil rich.... but there is a guy here in marietta that charges $60 and passes you no matter what!

Come on out. It'd be great to meet you. Why don't you go ahead and register and run?

as far as I know, you don't have to do the sniffer. IIRC anything newer than '96, they just plug into the OBD-II

Yep, 96 and up is just an OBDII plug in. Unfortunately, the Miata is a 90 :(.

eh, just throw the cat on, and retard some timing, and dont boost as much and you should pass w/ flying colors... hell you should pass w/ the cat and the turbo.

or find a guy that will pass you ;).
