anyone like SS?

This should probably be in another place but Ill just write and let it be moved. My dad has worked in car sales and hot roding for YEARS!! were talkin like 50 years. But he finally got back into buying and restoring last year. We have decided to have some fun and get some cars that will ABSOLUTLY DOMINATE. About 6 months ago we got a 1969 chevelle SS 502 from a guy in california and had it truck shipped. Had some body damage but is now 99.9% restored (completly awesome car). Its pretty much stock from factory. But yesterday we left from where Im from good old youngstown ohio to West Virginia (AKA filming grounds for deliverance) Anyway we left with my brothers 1500 silverado with tow dolly attached to get 2 chevelles. A 1970 chevelle SS with a HEAVILY HEAVILY MODIFIED 454 *bored to 468 with a 50,000 volt ingnition system 411 rear end and tooooonnnsss of other stuff. This car is SO TUFF (WHEEL STAND). Then we went a couple of hours further out and picked up a 1971 96% restored chevelle ss with a 350 in it. Im not really a fan of small block compared to what you get with other engines but this thing halls ass too. I am going to post pictures but you guys have to see these. why doesnt somebody try shoving a 502 under the hood of a protege 5(piss)

It prolly weighs more then the whole front of the car and it would tilt down. No room in engine bay and its rear wheel drive anyways.

hehe thats why you custom fit it into the back of the P5 :D

Sweet rides there, hope to eventually own a old muscle car. I probably give my life to own a SS right now. :p

LOL oh come on it would be a nice project to under take. Course be heck lot easier to just make a chassis for the engine, tranny and then build a P5 shell over it.

i got a 69 camaro with a 385 in it... I am more of a small block guy... big blocks are ****** awesom, my other friend's 69 runs 12.2's... but you can still get some reall good power out of a small block, and bb like torque with a stoked small block, and you can get camaros to handle real good with a little work... check out www.pro-touring.com They got a nice 69 that's got twin turbos on it running 11's... oh by the way i had to 72' chevelles too.... i love american muscle (rockon)

v8 would never fit without significant modification (not to mention the weight issue)...but a stroker 2.2 liter (2.4) h22a from a closed deck prelude built for turbo can put down 450-500whp (no nitrous) and still be able to drive on the street...it would also not make the front end any heavier and take a lot less fabrication to get it to fit
