okay, so HEY! what's the plan, we're getting closer here. everyone wanna do the carshow thing up in freeland? I bet we could show up quite a few by rolling in with atleast a dozen.. Or do we want to just do a seperate meet somewhere? Just trying to drum up some enthusiasm here...

Joka, are you trying to get in with some of the sponsor shipaction upthere? Ifso I'm sure having a couple other pro's around will help you drum up some attention.

Personally, freeland is a bit of a pull for me, but I'll manage to swing it if it looks like there'll be a good showing. ifnot, perhaps I'll just wait for everyone to get together on another day.

it sounds good. i'll ask Doug's if they wanna have me promote the dealership while i'm there. Rob, can you give me the name of the shop, the name of the show, the name of the person i can contact (maybe the owner?), and exact details of the show? that way, I can go, AND get paid!!!

Hey, mike, thanks BTW for calling me to tell about the P5 the otherday, I was in the middle of my first fiberglassing bout at the time and totally scattered (not to mention High on resin fumes) sorry for being flaky. I guess D's got a pretty good lead on getting ahold of a yellow one in Oregon for like 12. Kinda odd how pricing goes. Seems in WA, 5's are gold. We'd love to buy one from you, but it's a matter of $ and she's got just about exactly 12plus tax to play with, and doesn't want super high mileage.

Another odd thing I've been finding. and maybe I'm wrong, but I've seen a couple '03-looking cars being sold as '02's. Seems with all of them they've all got over 30,000miles. Perhaps it's a method of making it look like the car wasn't driven toomuch??? But I'm seeing open cupholders and '03 wheels, fender-sidemarkers, etc. on car's being lsited as '02's Am I missing something here? I saw one listed for your dealership, yellow ATX with the pushbutton shifting even I'm prettysure that was an 03-only feature as well.

I am all for the next meet. I saw a few people mentioning going a little more south to possibly meet up with the oregon owners, which I think would be a good idea. Let me know once its decided so I can get the day off. Oh and btw I hope you dont mind that the next time we meet I wont have a 5. Charles

Yea, checked it a bit, thanks man. We really do appreciate everyone keeping their eyes peeled. The car at sound: For one it was a price thing, and second, I had such a comically horrible experience when Iwas shopping for my car at sound that I seriously doubt I'd let anyone I know buy a car from them. Might have been just bad luck, but It ****** up an entire weekend for me, I left there PISSED...

Very cool. I'm down for hitting that up. I'll have my fiberglass box done bythen (possibly just not painted) for you guys to check out. Oh, and if all goes well, hopefully Danielle'll have her 5 bythen as well.

Also, perhaps we should start a new thread spefically dealing with that, though last time I saw some complaints form ppl trying to sift through allthe posts to get info. WHat ever happened to everyone, anyway?? seems the WA board is down to about 6 or so right now... RECRUITS!!! hey, has anyone ever made and sort of "tag" like a little business card you could slip under someone's wiper if you spot a nice pro in a parkinglot or something??? I think that could be a pretty efficient way of getting more members in here. Anyone with the skills to makeup a computer file for a card with maybe a shot of a lineup in the background? I figure just a simple link (though we'd want one that goes directly to the WA section as well as the full forum)
Thatway we could all jsut print off a couplefew copies, and pass them out.

As far as the portland/corksport connection goes. I think that'd definately be sweet, I've got no probs coming down for something like that. It's actually about the same distance for me either way (and the way to Portland involves alot more windy roads, and much less cops) Perhaps more towards the end of the month maybe???

i dont know i talked to him tonight and he said he was going to pick up his srt-4 tomorrow, so i told him i want a race so we are going to work on a track day meet probally in june or july!!!!!
