Anybody into Hang Gliding?

Never tried it but it looks like a lot of fun....course living on the prairies makes it a little difficult to do I guess. :)

check out www.kitty-hawk.com and jockey's ridge state park (i can't remember there addy). thats some good info on east coast hang gliding. i get to watch em every year since thats where i vactaion and my beach house is literaly 50 foot from the dune.

Guys check this site out. For any of you who are wondering what I am talking about, here ya go:

Fly For Fun

These things have a rang of over 100 miles considering the weather conditions, and can take off in 50 Ft!:D They cost about as much as a small Kia automobile though! I think this would be something great to do.

someone must have gotten hurt, and your mom found out huh?

nope, she made him give up all the fun stuff, he used hang glide, fly ultralites, and ride motorcycles, when the kids came, all that went out the window until recently when he a got a yamaha virago about 2 years ago. he figured if i had one he might as well.

he got rid of it all just before i was born. he said the ultra's were a blast though. I'd do either one if i had the cash to throw around. i've contemplated hang gliding down in kittyhawk buy it's damn expensive at 100 bucks a shot and you can't even fly around, you can just float down the big hill on the dune. if we had some good places to glide hell yeah, id do it.
