Anybody got boxes? HELP!! MOVING SOON!!

Hey GA guys/gals. The time has come. I finish (May-mester) classes on June 4, and we got an offer on the house today. The buyers want to close in 20 DAYS, (May 23, we're trying to push them back a few days) and we're not even started on packing!! Plus, I've got finals Monday and Tuesday of this week and my history thesis to turn in on Tuesday. After that, Pack-a-palooza begins.

So, any of you new homeowners have a pile of moving boxes you still need to get rid of? I need 'em.

Anyone have some time in the next few weeks and want to come out to Athens and help us pack? Yeah, I didn't think so, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

I'm going to at least try to make it out to a bowling night to say goodbye to people before we leave, but I don't know if that will happen. Maybe we can find a weekend to throw a party here before we go.

Either way, it's been great knowing you guys. I'll miss my GACC peeps, but it's going to be good to get back to the families in VA.

You could have 20 tons of large, heavy duty boxes.

No kidding, right? We've had the house on the market since the end of February, this was the second person to come through the house, and they want it now!!.

Ok, sold! I'm going to have to crash with friends from closing until my may-mester class ends, then I'll take my last Spanish class through the University's distance-learning program, and graduate in August.

I'll miss GACC, GA winters, and having a big-ass house with no mortgage, but it will be so nice to get Lucas back to within an hour of both his sets of grandparents and both of his Aunts/all of his cousins. It will also be nice to get back to my VA Mazda clubs and the local Mazda/Porsche/BMW/Saab club autocrosses. The club 'crosses were cheaper and more casual than SCCA events, more runs, too!

I was gonna say we have Danley Sound Labs boxes usually left over and we just take em to Gainesville Recycling center every week or so. If all else fails, I'll do what I can.

Well, we got the closing pushed back to May 27, and we accepted the offer. They still have a bit of "due diligence" time, during which they can back out, but considering what a hurry they are in to get in the house, I don't think they can realistically bail now!

I will miss you all. Hell, I got into Atlanta so rarely that I've missed you guys while I've been here!

I worked at Sams and we just crushed em all. Go there though. They usually have tons of them stored by the registers.

for smaller boxes you can actually go to www.usps.com and request for some. they are free, just order what you need and they'll deliver to you free also.
