Which lens(es) are you shooting with?
Jliao said:You can't go wrong with 17-40The only complain i have is f/4
I was considering getting the 24-70 f/2.8L, but I decided to go with 70-200 f/2.8L, then maybe later on in the near future fill in the 24-70.
ChopstickHero said:just the EF-S 18-55mm kit lens. i'm looking into getting a new lens, not sure which one yet. i have narrowed it down to three, 17-40mm f4 L, 17-55mm f2.8 IS or 24-105mm f4 L. the first one is least expensive, the last two are roughly the same price.
rjmhotrod said:Yeah I have the kit lens as well as the 50mm 2.8 prime ($80). The 50 takes some very nice pics - very little chromatic abberation and plenty sharp. I have in my B&H cart the 70-300mm f4-5.6 IS USM - I think it will serve our purposes well, even though I was looking at the 70-200mm f4 L for roughly the same price. I'm torn between the two but I think the IS will prove to be very useful (even though I do have a tripod).

yeah, take a look here. i don't think it affects all lenses, but i'm sure it affects a good number of them and you would only know if you have a bad copy by taking pics in vertical mode.rjmhotrod said:Thanks a bunch - I think I'll investigate this a bit.
