-Bring a tripod just in case
-shoot around sunset, just before the sun disappears from the horizon, or wait for a cloudy/overcast day
-don't shoot with on-camera flash
-shoot in Manual mode..but I don't know what your camera can do

FunkyBuddha, do you have your flashes bare? or softbox or umbrella?

I shot with bare flashes before, same "ricer extreme angle" :p LOL... but couldn't get the light so smooth. But that was only a test before all the snow came down, will need to test more when warmer weather comes

Ya my flashes were bare. What I did was aim them at the wheels so the falloff of the light hits the body and that provides a smoother light.

You can post any snide remarks you want but I don't care. Post up the image on any automotive based forum and you'll see the critique that they give.

While I don't consider it an "extreme ricer angle" I do agree that framing any car at an angle like that is pointless. All it makes me do is tilt my head to look at the car as it should be seen.

This was sitting in my to-do folder... finally got around to doing some post processing on it.

I know I shouldn't cross post in the Photo-video section, but I have a problem with a Sony DVCam and need some advice. If the videographers here have a moment please take a look at my post in the Off Topic forum.

Thanks!
