Any photographers in here?

thats badass. My first reaction was HOLY s*** look at all the buttons to press!!!

Which is why they don't let EVERYONE up there to play. Personally, I'm a fan of the red button on the stick and the striped handle on the seat. Wonder what they do...?(nana)

Photographer here as well, still a rookie but learning quick.

My new feat is I want to learn HDR really really bad. It's the only way imo I want to continue shooting. It's so much more dramatic.

Nikon D40x
18-55mm
55-200mm
UV Filter
SB-400 Flash
4gb SDHC Ultra 2

Anyone who has tips for HDR, let me know!

Photo Shop CS2 or CS3 have this ability natively and it works very well. HDR can improve most any image, but I think it can damage most any image, too. Restraint is the key to this effect, IMO.

F/A-18D Hornet sweet! Have you photographed any F-22s?

Yes I have actually. I have the pics on my computer up at school. I'm home now so I'll post a couple when I get back. I'm hoping to test my new equipment out on that bird this May at the Andrews AFB airshow. Can't wait!!

Agreed. Thanks for the tip! Now all I gotta do is actually get CS2 or 3..damnit.

I disagree. CS2 works with plugins and not very well as a dedicated program like HDRSoft or something similar.

Photomatrix > Photoshop HDR

Adobe's HDR flexibility is very limited.

Sure I see some differences in the comparisons between Photomatix and Photo Shop but maybe not $100 worth of difference. Although, Silver Ecstasy did say he wants to HDR full-time which may make it a worthwhile investment.

I would love to learn for the sake of knowing how. And to take more dramatic photos that better express my visions.
