Greetings to all. Just bought a Classic Red 2002 on 8/29. It's a 5 speed with sunroof. ABS, and side airbags. Very impressed with it so far, although I got off to a bad start with it. The day after I bought it it threw a 171 code. I put new NGK ZFR5F-11 plugs in it and thought maybe I messed something up, as it would barely keep running it was that rough. I searched and searched and finally found the problem. The underside of the tube from the airbox into the motor was slit, allowing LOTS of air in. Duct tape fixed it, and now it is so smooth. The steering is great, with all new Kuhmo asx all around. I have a 2000 Pro Es 5speed too, which is nice, but doesn't handle as well. It is very to my son's 94 Infiniti G20t, another fun car to drive. I just noticed 01A402P5 became a new member a few days ago, and lives not too far away, as I am in Lancaster, Pa. Hope to get this car away from my sons! PS I think I'll put these same plugs in my Pro ES. Both cars are classic red and have 104K. The dealer where I got the 5 opened up the motor so I could check the timing belt. Estimated it was only on a year,and motor looked real clean. Put it on ramps yesterday and no lie, could not see one drop of oil or any other fluid underneath, nor on the motor either. Looking forward to checking the MPG.
