I wired my AMP/SUB Last Night and now I have a very strange issue that I think may be due to incorrect wiring (reversed?) of the line converter.
I have the factory head unit wired to a line converter and one of the RCA's from the Line Converter runs to the AMP. The speaker wire runs from the AMP to the sub. The strange thing is, when I set the head unit's balance to the left or right, the sub gets much louder. Nomally this is a phase issue, however, I only have one of the subs connected. I am thinking that something is reversed, such as the line converter wiring. But, before I take everything apart, I would like to get your options. So, if anyone has ran into this in the past, or has any ideas on what to troubleshoot, please let me know. The AMP is a Profile Clarus CL400.
Thanks,
Ken E
