Hi I am thinking to replace my alternator before it fails . I have replaced my Bose system with aftermarket speaker and amps. I want to use a alternator with a little more power. I have a 2018 GT CX5 . I'm think of swapping it with a 2019 alternator with turbo which has 50 more amps. 100 amp vs 150 amp. . Seem that it can fit. they look exactly alike. Does anyone know if it would fit? I just want piece of mind. so not to drain my battery constantly.. I don't think i need a 250amp alternator. They are way to expensive. Im running about 1200 amp between both amps. And I have done the big three wiring upgrade. and suggestion would be helpful.
