think so? I'd tone em down a lil for a spicy msp - but to each their own. Hell.....that yellow is going away this weekend.
As it stands - I let my kids pick quite a bit that I do to the car. My kids both agreed on the Chartreuse/Highlighter-Yellow that initially went on for IFO. My son picked the Safety Orange and now my daughter wants to pick a color....and you know what color a girlie-girl is gonna pick......

Update - finally pulled the trigger. I purchased a replacement snail and IC piping kit to complete the turbo build.
I will not be running the MS with this initial venture into boost though - as I'm a little apprehensive of the fact that my last one - I burnt it up. I want to ensure that someone else takes a look at it and verifies that all connections are good and well made before burning up another unit. So for now - I'll be on the ol' 10:1 FMU.
The remainder of pieces show up this week - and if I'm in good standing with the ol' lady - she'll allow me to take the car down for 2 days to get this done.
Next update - after the boost is installed and running. Here goes nuffin...eh?

I must ask - in order to initially boost this engine - will I need a Boost Controller? Seeing as how I'm only running 8 psi (8.7 psi spring in WG) - is that low enough boost to not worry about it spiking or whatnot?
If not - I'll wait.

stupidity on my part will not happen again. I didn't install it as well as I thought I had and I had a wire actually arc and blow out the logic circuit. If that was all that burnt up - I'd been ok. But it continued to burn until I found what was smoking....a big black smoking spot on the board caused some concern....lol.
Yes Evan - as soon as my back is all better - it's going in. I still have a set of springs I have to mail another member here on the board, and they're great enough to understand I can hardly walk - let alone carry a 70lb package to the UPS dropoff office....lol.

Here we are......first test run on an open downpipe.....afterall - it's just a submarine engine, right???
It's cutting out just off of idle if you stick her too hard with your foot, but if you roll it on......hooooooooly hell is it a nice linear powerband. I like the sound too.....

figured out why I can't romp on it stright out of the hole - I acutally have the FMU hooked up incorrectly - being that it's before the AFPR. It needs to be after...the last link in the chain before the return line back to the tank.
Gonna grab pics soon of the engine bay. Should make for an amusing time tonight, as I fix the fueling issue, put a new coupling on the compressor housing, and fix 1 more boost leak I found today.

so took it out to a local meet lastnight a bit from my house - it was damp since it's been raining all day long.
yeah - p5+v6+turbo = no 3rd or 4th gear WOT runs on teh open highway.......3 and 4 just lol'd and spun tire til I let off.....
what WAS fun though - when we got back to our side of town - my buddy was talkin smack in a MS3. He got me from a dig (still need to tune this thing - pig rich ftl....), but from any (and I mean any) roll speed....he lost. we tried 30, 45, 60, and even an 80 roll just for the hell of it.
