ajkulish's Build Thread #2

thanks dude! i was thinking about attempting a twin charged set up some time in the near future.

and those caps look killer. i just dont have time to order them. maybe if i need to do touch ups in the future, ill pick those up

yeah i know. a buddy of mine will be removing his stock msp turbo, so i might be picking that up and building the motor (since i will be already next year). i could be just turbo, and then get the extra boost of the sc like im running a 50 shot of nitrous at the same time lol. just permanent.

adam, why not photochop those two-tone blue stipes with that wheel color i have a feeling it won't suck. i am looking forward to seeing you toledo guys, all two of you. unless jon is there also. haha.

You mean the the Grand Sport stripes? I like how they look. Black would be best, IMHO since you'll probably change wheel colors a lot. Then you won't have to worry about clashing colors. Can't wait to see the final product next week.

well i dont have photoshop, that shop was done for me a while ago. maybe someone can do it for me.

haha jon in the 2? when did you meet him? and i have a couple of my close friends coming out too. one drives a 96 m3 and the other a 91 talon with about 400 hp.

i was thinking the same thing, but maybe when i settle on a wheel color ill do that blue/light blue stripe thing but for now gloss black seems to be an order.

not done. but here is the final front look!

Looks good.... Looking forward to some videos of the cat performing

haha, ill have some videos up when i get the exhaust installed and seal up my boost leak

looks good man, remines me of mine lol

haha, it does look like that. thankfully this paint is 1000 times stronger than primer. i cant even sand this paint away with 80 grit.

except his has a motor and functional suspension height...

ouch LOL. he will get there..... some year ;)

An, GIMP is a free editing software similar to Photoshop. Works really well. Check it out.

i used gimp before but i never really got into it like i did photoshop. maybe ill take another swing at it.

Rough times... lol

haha i was thinking the same thing

update. after the full year of terrible hood/headlight/bumper fitment i finally got it all fixed. its not perfect but its about 95% which is as good as its gonna get. heres a picture

going to get the exhaust in the morning unless greyhound ***** up some more.

First of all A.J. WOW! You did a GREAT job! I was worried that the car was just going to look primered like Rep's. The black hood matches the lip and the car just looks super aggressive. I'm sure these pics don't do it justice. Secondly, what all did you do to adjust your front end. My headlight/bumper/hood doesn't fit too well and I need some adjusting. I'm wondering where you started

I'll give it some time. I had some bumper brackets made for me. to support the bumper where the headlights are. Once I install the bumper and get it proper, adjusting the hoods height via my hood pins may do the trick. Do you adjust your headlights at all? is that even possible?
