AWD...say Bye Bye

Ok guys here is the widely anticipated Dyno charts from our new AFC. As you can see there wasn't a lot of gain at stock boost. HOWEVER please notice the giant different in the A/F ratios...as you figured the huge sloped blue curve is our stock suck ass tuning, the other 3 smooth curves are the tuned curves...We're still working on final prices but it will be between $275-$350, should have a final price towards the end of this week.

can I put my name on one yet?

me too!!! I'd like to order from the first batch.

Also did you decide on whether you are going to make this with a ebc yet?

I'd like to see that on a N/A car. I can't stand how rich this damn car runs over 3500rpm. 28mpg straight highway SUCKS! I had a 2.3L Ford OHC turbo that averaged 28mpg, with plenty of 100+ mph jaunts and about half the time at 15psi or more....

The AFC will work for any boost level, any size injector, and any size turbo you can come up with....but we only have preset maps for stock, 8psi and 10psi at the moment. All this means is you would have to adjust one of these maps for your application. We hope to have 5 more maps out here by xmas.

A/F ratio looks good. The maps were drawn up with a car with only a CAI, right?

Does this have an integrated FCD? I'm a little nervous about doing away with fuel cut, but if I felt good about the improved A/F ratios, I might be cool with it.

Super detailed installation instructions are a must.

Does it incorporate an EBC?

The gains at 8psi look awesome for what is a relatively modest level of boost. Long term reliability at 10psi frightens me a little, even with good A/F maps- the rods just aren't that strong. Maybe, though- time will tell.

Nice work. I'm pumped up about it.

k

Is this a pnp . My air fuel ratios right now with injen cai ion fmic and 2.5 catless to 3 '' catbaqck at 9 psi are 11.8 in 3rd gear and they go to 11 or under in 4th havent really pushed it in 5th to see what happens . And this setup without the 3'' catback netted me 201 whp and 207 tq So would this benfit me say to go to retune this setup and lower air fuel ratios and make a map to run 12 with race gas . Ive been told my several members here that my air fuels are ok and are making good power were there at. So what do you think about this? Everything sounds good so far also what about the timing and the flash ? Thansk for any info Tony

I didn't see an answer in the other thread, sorry if it's already been answered... are these maps able to be altered by laptop? Any screenshots of the program?

Hmm, I just found the other thread. The answer just happens to be in the very first post

I'll go into more detail when we have finished dyno results and specs, but instead of using knobs and switches, we've made the unit completely interfaceable with the computer. That means you plug it in load the software and edit your own settings, perfect for those of you who want to be able to change things up between runs."

bump, I'm really curious about this one. But what was stock boost for you? My stock boost is right around 7.5 psi. I'm curious as to how it plugs in or wires in.
