hey guys well i have a problem that has been bugging me every time i start the car i does not matter if its a cold start or a hot start when i step on the gas to take off it sounds like i am leaking air out of somewhere. i looked over everything and cant find a source to this leak you can say.after the car is at peak temp you cant hear it but if you listen closely you can hear it and this all started after i installed the pg turbo manifold. it sounds happen everything the turbo spools but i have checked the turbo inlet and it is fine help anyone i can have a video up later on in the day.

are you running lean? do you have logs? need more info.........get a smoke test or pressure test done, pressure test will confirm a leak if there is one, smoke test will show you where the leak is

I am pretty sure that is just the sound of the turbo sucking in air. check all your clamps to be sure though.

Yes, just sucking air around a hose fitting. But that is raw unfiltered air. It does not take much unfiltered air to do damage to the cylinder walls of your engine, so, IMHO, fix the leak ASAP or park it until you do. Your engine will thank you.

well i checked the turbo inlet and the intake everything is the same still i just did a cold start and you can really hear it. do you think is the manifold that the bolts are not all the way tight???? also i have a dashhawk how can i check for exhaust leaks

Check all yours t's and lines. I had the same issue before, turned out one of the t's on the intake manifold cracked.

well i dont think it would be any t's or lines to a loud noise im thinking it might be the manifold or the fines inside the turbo maybe but my guess is the manifold
