I would hook them up to my high beams so they would only come on with the high beam drl and off when the low beams are on. They come with brackets that are fairly flush to the led housing. Are the fog lightshousings easy to take off?
I covered the bumper with masking tape to prevent scratch mark, then pry up one corner of the fog light cover with a flathead screwdriver, slowly pull it up little bit a time by hands, quite easy.
You might need to remove some plastic from the bumper to give way for the DRLS housing. And my advice for mounting the brackets is, do your best to aim the brackets as much as you can to the middle of the bumper, to get the most light output to the direct front of the car. This is the reason why my DRL bars protruded a little at the external end of the fog light cover.
