AFC-SplitSecond PSC1 Map Library

if you're burning 14-15 afr, you should actually be making more power.. its just far from safe. I'd say the reading was probably erroneous.

^^ Yea how long did you hold the throttle in 4th? Maybe the wideband had some lag or something and didn't have time to display the proper A/F before you let off? I've noticed that happening to me before. Maybe my wideband just sucks. If I had money I would consider upgrading to an AEM, Innovate, or something of that nature.

I have an AEM though lol and it def wasnt the wideband ******* up, i could feel it not pulling as hard,
which is why i looked over at the wideband and noticed the weird afr's, it was raining outside if that makes a difference

Today for the first time ever, my AFRs started spiking past 16 while cruising. Every time it happens, the car bogs a little. It only happens for a few seconds but it is repetitive. The last thing I need right now is knock knock BOOM if I were to go into boost when this happens.

That's no good

I would start a new map and read from the ECU to make sure everything is the way it should be. Then I would reload a safe map and see how it goes.

you still have your EGR connected?
mine does it when its testing the EGR's, but its just when im cruising around 3K (mine is deleted BTW)

I still have the EGR connected. It gets to the point where the gauge is maxed out and shows nothing but dashes. Would changing weather conditions have this affect? I thought about reloading the supermap but I really don't think that would fix the issue. By the way, it does seem to happen around 3k rpm sometime. I hope this is temporary because I will be driving my car to SC for Christmas and I don't want any issues along the way

hmm...idk that sounds like a vac leak of some sort
mine only goes to 16 then to 12, does it like 4 or 5 times and then its done, but thats normal for how i have the EGR setup,
if yours is connected then something is def wrong

I hope it's not a vac leak. I haven't done any work to it lately. I have to go to work shortly, hopefully it's not an ongoing thing. I'll post an update later

Reset the battery. See if it comes back. My SSAFC was hanging up like that too.

Or check to see if the WB u2 sensor is nice and tight in the bung.

I just thought about that as soon as I logged in just now. I'll reset the battery when I get off work. I'll check the sensor too but how would the uego sensor affect the car other than giving a false reading if the sensor was loose?

Well now it maxes out the gauge and bogs as soon as I try to get on it. I'm going to reset the ecu in a min.

update: just reset the ECU, but now with my freaking luck, my car charger for my laptop just stopped working...like it won't charge my laptop for some reason and I can't find my wall charger. my laptop doesn't have any battery life so I connected it to my car charger and it was on for about a minute and just cut off. Now, I have no way to connect to the AFC. I know its not the cig lighter because it works with my radar detector connected. FML!!!

Make sure you don't connect to the AFC until you have some battery life and the charger is working. If it cuts out when you are loading the map I am told it can mess up the AFC and you might have to send it in for repairs. I could be wrong, but better safe then sorry.

no, I wasn't connected yet. I had just turned the car to the accessory position and hooked my laptop to the charger when the charger decided to crap out.

Update: reset the ECU a few days ago. Car is running like a champ again. Walked on a ram hemi and a Vdub passat 2.0 turbo
