Does anyone have a map for 12psi on disco, fmic, tbe 80mm cs exhaust, vented bov,sr intake? I am currently running the 440 map on first page it runs decent but afrs fluctuate quite a bit and runs pretty rich

Would you consider this a moderate to safe tune? It just seems the even with all 440 maps the AF ratio doesn't want to drop under boost. I have my Aeromotive fuel regulator set at 42 psi base pressure, with the hose disconnected.
The ecu always finds 14.7:1 at idle, according to my wide band; however cruising and " light! " throttle make the af go to 13.1 ish at 10 in/mercury. then stays at thirteens into slight boost. The best luck ive had was adding fuel up 5% to the the so called "super stock map"
My Exhaust gas temps never go above 1100 F which in my opinion is very safe so its hard to believe that I am indeed running LEAN.
When our cars buck under boost.... can that be from running too RICH? or is that just a LEAN situation.

Would the muffler silencer perhaps be messing up my O2 and wideband readings do too less flow rate? It is the typical N1 style 3.5 inch silencer.

cool im still here, so post it as soon as possible
I am starting to think that running rich with the silencer will collect unburnt gas and throw off AF readings :\

13.1:1 is slightly rich, but not rich enough to be what I would call safe. With your EGTs you may be OK, with considering how fragile the rods are I'd add more fuel. The car bucking is typically fuel cut, which happens when the MAF sees voltage that is too high, regardless of the AFR. 440s usually cause you to need to drop the MAF signal shown to the ECU low enough that you won't fuel cut though. It seems VERY odd to me that you'd be running a map designed for 285s on 440s without ending up with AFRs in about the 8s, but EGRs that low sounds consistent with a rich AFR.

My thoughts are that the ecu can control the 440's at low load and when the turbo is doing nothing.
At pressures greater than 0 psi the Disco potato is throwing huge amounts of air, especially with the front mount inter cooler. the the two balance out at lower rpms while in boost; which may be why i had some luck with enrichening the super stock map.
I just turned my key to on with engine off and the Wideband reads 13.3:1 !!!!!!!!! that has to mean that i was running too rich and theres fuel vapors in the exhaust still right????

aeromotive rising rate and 42 is the initial aka base pressure with the vacuum hose removed. I am under the impression that the stock fpr is 39-45psi initial pressure with the vac line removed and at idle. i got the fpr to help deal with the walboro pump

Your map worked well for me. I haven't had a good pull light that in awhile
but then I started playing with my manual boost controller and couldn't duplicate the pulls again. LAME.... i WAS MAKING SURE THAT I DIDN'T GO OVER 9PSI , I want to get forged internals soon, but not because I have too! I will have to play with the greddy boost controller gain settings.
I noticed these things.
idle 13.1:1
max egt 1150 F During a hard pull
wot AF max 12.7 but sat around high 11's for most of the time
entering boost around 2000-3000 bogs down a lot; i noticed a healthy chunk of 10's there in the map that i changed to 9.9 Also, i changed all vac settings to 9.9 then raised all values in boost up by 0.1
Looks like I am on the right track. I will try it again tomorrow.

hmmmmm maybe i should interpret any bogg as lean lol
but at 9 psi the A/f looked good for the most part. but i wanna make it richer till im actually tuning with a laptop pluged in. looking at 15 gauges while speeding is dangerous lol

I'm starting to become convinced that something's wrong with my afc. Running the supermap. I'm now getting 10's on my wideband even in partial boost...even at 2-3 psi. This isn't even in complete WOT. When we installed it back in August of 2008, I got 11.6 at wot. When the winter came, the ratio went to 10 at wot. I asked around and people said that the change was due to the colder temps. However, throughout this summer i noticed that the wideband still read 10 at wot.
Any of the gurus care to comment?

how long was the engine last run when you turned the key on with the engine off and the O2 sensor read 13's? there will be unburnt fuel in the exhaust that takes a while to clear out. if you sit there and watch the gauge it should slowly get leaner. let your car sit over night and try again in the morning, the gauge should be maxed out. what wideband controller are you using?
the tune will constantly change with climate and elevation changes, the AFC/FTC isn't perfect but it works fine as long as you don't mind making adjustments every few days.
whatever cells you tune for WOT will be a lot richer at part throttle.

I thought for a while there was something wrong with my AFC as well since I was running the stock super map and still pinging 10.0 but as mentioned, the map may need to be altered based on elevation and climate in order to achieve the same results that others get. Some say the stock super map works great, I however did not have as much luck with it.

I've experienced this for some reason also. I've also had my settings "reset" on me even though they say it shouldn't. Things have been stable for awhile but I still keep an eye on my wideband the occasional time I drive like a fool. If I were you I'd take a look at your map and settings to make sure things are good.

what mods do you have? since its called 440T3T4 im assuming you have a t3/t4 turbo?

nice, thats going to be pretty close to the mods ill have as soon as i go t3
different exhaust manifold, and 3" exhaust, but im sure ill be able to do some fine tuning
oh and a little question for you guys, anybody else have times where it seems like the SSAFC isnt working at all?
today i got on it, 1st was good, 2nd was good, 3rd was good, but in 4th i was boosting 6psi and the AFR's were like i wasnt in boost at all (14-15) didnt get any knock, thanks to the low C/R
but I did feel a difference in power, it was like i wasnt going anywhere....was this just a glitch or what? any info
